What is your passion? Literature? Art? Meditation? Hiking? Greece Workshops Karlovasi Samos is a retreat service for small groups to relax in and be creative. The workshops are held on the Greek Island of Samos, one of the most inviting islands in the Aegean, a verdant landscape with picturesque villages and countless footpaths through lush forests. The harbour town of Karlovasi with its spectacular Potami Beach, its pretty chapels, and surviving remnants of the tannery era, reminders of a bustling industry that once thrived, is today a fascinating blend of traditional and contemporary lifestyles.
The workshops are a joint venture between instructor and hotel. The learning holiday includes half-board (breakfast and dinner) accommodation in a quaint, seaside hotel – the Anema by the sea Guesthouse in Karlovasi – invigorating morning sessions, indoor or out with discussions, exercises, and counselling from professional instructors, followed by free afternoons and evenings for individual or group exploration of Samos.
Optional day excursions to the island of Patmos, to Kusadasi, Turkey along with the ancient site of Ephesos are available.
Demetra (Toula) Foustanellas, who runs the family business with her husband Diamantis, was born and raised in Ottawa, Canada. She has lived on Samos island for over two and a half decades. Merging creativity with the warmth of local hospitality was her incentive to launching 'Greece Workshops Karlovasi Samos', an idea initiated by her literary agent, Penny Stathonikos.

Here's
how it works:
The
instructor
is
required to prepare the curriculum, sets his/her instructors fee, finds and
screens his/her own students. A minimum/maximum number of participants is
set per workshop.

the duration of the workshop...7, 10 days or 14 days.
The
hotel
Anema
by-the-sea Guesthouse facilitates all workshop activity and provides the
following package:
-indoor
/ outdoor venues
-studio
with breakfast and dinner accommodations for single or double occupancy
-shuttle
bus airport pick-up service (for group arrivals/departures)
-scenic
tours/Greek ambiance experience on free days.
The
student
is
responsible for...
